Job description:

As Sous Chef, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing à la carte dishes and meals for both lunch and dinner.
  • Coordinating and organising the execution of work within the kitchen.
  • Receiving, checking and storing orders.
  • Managing the kitchen team in the absence of the Head Chef.
  • Contributing to and thinking about menus, dish compositions and the development of new recipes.

Job expectations, who are you?

Our Sous Chef meets or largely masters;

  • Possesses SVH chef training or equivalent.
  • Has experience in leading and coaching a team within a professional kitchen.
  • Is flexible, motivated and a team player.
  • Has good knowledge of the Dutch and English languages.
  • Is familiar with HACCP and food safety standards.
